FIELD OF APPLICATION:

Rubber-like tactile effect paint for applications in various fields (giftware, housewares, furniture, car parts, etc.) and general indoor applications (1). The product used in different contexts where, in addition to the aesthetic function and tactile sensation, it must fulfill a protective function by contact with contaminants, may manifest critical issues. Evaluate in advance the appropriateness of use considering specific peculiarities and possible limitations. Chemical resistances should be tested according to chemicals, concentration, time temperature and type of contact. (1) For applications on manufactured goods also intended for outdoor use, add 3% UV filter Z.288 or 5% of UV filters AD930050/AD930100

PREPARATION OF THE SUBSTRATE:

Plastic materials: Treat with appropriate primers according to the type of plastic material (consult Vernici Caldart laboratory). Iron substrates: Remove any traces of rust, then degrease and then treat with 190 series or 193 series epoxy primer to match. Aluminum: Scour with scotch-Brite, then degrease and then treat with 190 series or 193 series epoxy primer to match.
