Painting of products such as general objects, lighting, sporting and components of safety and/or rescue equipment, that require high visibility. Fluorescent pigments are extremely photosensitive and degrade rapidly when affected by solar radiation (UV rays in particular). For this reason, they are not recommended for objects that are to be exposed outdoors and to sunlight, even if this comes indirectly and filtered by glass.
Mix Colortech line converters according to the ratios given in the form and associated with RAL fluorescent shades. The most suitable converters for achieving fluorescent shades are 2K acrylics and polyurethanes, nitro and basecoat 1K. Not recommended for use on fast drying, epoxies and brush-on enamel resins.
Rev.: 12/22 Fluorescent pigments have a very poor covering power, so the color of the background chosen greatly influences the final shade. For the best fluorescent effect, we recommend the use of a white two-component primer such as our 794.90900. Remember that the final shade will also be affected by the number of coats applied. Fluorescent enamels must be overpainted with final 2K protective clearcoats such as our 701.00015, 701.HS010, body line clearcoats, or 701.HS060 additivated with 3% to 5% Z.288 UV filter.
